VATSIM controllers who are interested in applying for visitor status in Toronto FIR should visit this page first to learn more.

These are the topics for each position which the visiting/transferring controller must know prior to logging on and working that position. It is important for the person to have a good knowledge of these topics so that they will be able to conform to established procedures and fit in when working with others who have commenced their training at CZYZ. When a person has been certified on APP, DEP or CTR from their FIR, a  check ride on sweatbox will normally be required for each position prior to logging on. The Airport Control positions normally will require a brief  check ride to be done as well but this should be fairly quick.
