Toronto vs Boston 'Cross Fire' - Monday, 23rd August, 2010 [2300z - 0300z]

Two month ago the Toronto FIR and Boston ARTCC had joined up to present an exciting new event Toronto vs. Boston 'Cross Fire'. An invitation when out to everyone to participate in the inaugural event. With outstanding support from dedicated pilots from the VATSIM network the event was an outstanding success. The only issue we had with the event was it ended in a TIE!!! So lets settle this ones and for all.

The theme of the event is staged as an over time round and the gloves are off. Again in the good spirit of our partnership between Toronto and Boston we are going to battle it out to see who can land the most aircraft on the others airport. One arrival counts as one punch and who ever can send the most arrivals at the end of the night wins.

So come out in force and support your side, let's see which airport can fire the most planes at its opponent.

Toronto invites all to join our monthly TTC event… - TBD at 8:00pm ET (0000Z)

An invitation to all to take part in our monthly Toronto Tension Convention 'TTC'. This event is a monthly opportunity for pilots to put Toronto ATC to the test. The goal is to fill the skies over Toronto with hundreds of aircraft, and raise the tension in our controllers' voice. File as IFR or VFR, and fly to or from Toronto.

The event will take place on TBD, starting at 8:00pm ET - 0000Z. Toronto will provide full staffing to Toronto Center and a full house at CYYZ from Clearance Delivery to Arrival.

Come on out and test our skills by taking a flight in CZYZ.

Rush hour in Canada!!! - TBD

The Toronto FIR and Winnipeg FIR are proud to present 'The J500 Journey'. We welcome all to join us as our FIRs get together to provide a night of great ATC and outstanding partnership. Imagine what could happen when flights to and from Toronto and Winnipeg are routed on the same route, well we are about to find out!! Take a journey with us as we push the limits of separation and put you nose to nose with other aircraft with only 1000 feet between each other, the out come could be catastrophic.

The event will be held on Friday, July 9th, starting at 2300 Zulu. Both airports, CYYZ in the Toronto FIR and CYWG in the Winnipeg FIR, will be fully staffed along with a full complement of Center 'en-route' ATC, providing all with full service from start-up to shut down. Charts and scenery are available at www.winnipegfir.com and www.czyz.ca.

Run It Through Parliament - TBD

The Toronto FIR and Montreal FIR are proud to present Run It Through Parliament. We welcome all to join us as our FIRs get together to provide a night of top notch ATC between Toronto and Montreal. For those that don't know, located in between our two airports is Ottawa the Capital city of Canada. We would like to give everyone an opportunity to see it, and we thought what better time or way to see such an important landmark then from the air in your favorite aircraft. So come out relax and enjoy the flight, just don't forget your camera!!!

The event will be held on Saturday June 12th, starting at 2300 Zulu, which both airports, CYYZ in the Toronto FIR and CYUL in the Montreal FIR will be fully staffed along with a full complement of Center en-route ATC, providing all with full service from start-up to shut down. Charts and scenery are available at both czul.vatcan.org and www.czyz.ca.
